In Ottawa, he honed his interpersonal skills as a Customer Service Representative at Algonquin College Bookstore and a Resident Advisor at the college’s Residence and Conference Centre. These roles deepened his understanding of community building and customer success.

Transitioning to Toronto, Daren applied his technical skills as an Electronic Technician at Fugro Airborne Surveys and took on positions that enhanced his expertise in logistics and production. Eventually settling in the Waterloo Region, Daren flourished at Christie Digital Inc., progressing from production roles to Quality Assurance Specialist.

At Miovision, Daren’s leadership and commitment to excellence led him to become an SQA Team Lead, and contributed to advancements in intelligent transportation technology. His dedication to quality and innovation has made a significant impact in the tech industry.

Throughout his journey, Daren has remained passionate about education and community service. As a Part Time Instructor at Conestoga College, he inspires students with his real-world experience and knowledge. His roles with the CCAWR and YMCA allow him to advocate for programs that support diversity, inclusion, and empowerment.
